Updates on Multipurpose Center
The Multipurpose Center continues to be the number one location in Antigua and Barbuda for events, meetings, conventions, weddings and general events. For the period June to September 2023, the Corporation hosted the Annual School's Uniform Grant program, an initiative of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and facilitated by the Ministry of Education. The grant was well supported by the general public as per the norm.
To make St John's City the model of the Caribbean providing amenities for the development and benefit of our stakeholders while creating an environment of excellence.
From August 21-25, the Petro Caribe Initiative (PDV) was held at the Cultural Center of the Multipurpose center. Thousands of pensioners were once again the recipient of the grant offered for discount on APUA services mainly (electricity and water). The PDV distribution is done twice per year. There are several other events pending for the multipurpose Center. We will update you as they occur.
